On camping trips, it is assumed that all personnel in the age groups involved will attend unless they give notification otherwise. On the September camp and the camporees, this notification will be to the patrol leader. On the October, November, December, January, February, and June trips, notification will be to the Scoutmaster. On the September camp and the camporees, the Patrol Leader is puchasing food for his patrol. If he is not notified of an absence before food is purchased, the individual will be charged for his share of the food.
